I have an 8 year old male grey tabby cat that has some symptoms that just won’t seem to go away. His inner eyelid is constantly red and his eyes are usually discharging yellowish mucus. He also sneezes frequently and sounds congested. The area around his eyes are sensitive and painful we believe. The severity comes and goes but it’s usually affecting him in some way. We’ve taken him to two different vets and they just give us eye drops that don’t seem to work, they’ve told us it’s some type of virus. For 6 years he had none of these symptoms, they only started once we moved. Has anyone had a cat with similar symptoms and had success with anything? We feel terrible because he’s the sweetest cat and really doesn’t deserve to go through this.
