I know this is prob the oldest thing in the book, but I've always owned cats and kittens who get on instantly and bond quite quickly. My recent addition (young kitten - male) has caused a stir in one of my other older female cats. She has always been a bit of a sassy bitch, in fact the cat we have at home even older than her she managed to whip into submission to the point they became besties .. so i'm guessing she is suuper top cat and territorial and she is a absolutely hating this new kitten (even the older cat has givin up and likes it). I've got them to bond over cat nip and treats but she just will not have a bar of him. he's only a few months so i'm wondering if maybe once he is neutered she will be better? She's fixed herself though so idk how it would make a difference but yeah. I just find it hilarious this cat used to be a little terror to her elders and now she's the elder and won't have a bar of it.
Also i live in a small town in NZ where cats aren't house cats, they roam the property inside and outside so space isn't an issue.
Any advice would be great!
