My cat has been having this issue since I adopted her at which she pees on my (worn clothes) whenever she gets a chance. Weirdly however she still peed and pooped in her litterbox, and she only does it on recently worn clothes. In the past I've taken her to the vet several times and its not been crystals nor an infection. The vet therefore suggested it might be a behavioural issue. I suspect it might be separation anxiety. I don't know how to approach this as I am away from home everyday and don't have a fixed schedule. I want to help her so I'm open to suggestions.
