Our mini pinscher is a nightmare in car rides. No matter how long he is in the car for, chances are he will spend the entire time whimpering and screaming (yes, I say screaming because it doesn't even sound like barking). This is worsened if we hold him still, or if he's not in the front seat. We have no idea what to do. Our trips are becoming head inducing shouting matches.
Some info about Ozzy: He's 1y old, he was separated from his mother very young (perhaps too soon), has terrible separation anxiety (almost becomes as stressed as in the car when alone). He's been like this for as long as I can remember. We ALL love him to death. He has quickly become part of the family, and we'd be torn to shreds if something happened to him.
I'm writing this from a caravan where I'll be spending the weekend with my family. If this keeps up we're gonna end up killing each other...
