My 1 year old cat is my baby and I love him, though at times he can be skittish and frightened easily. He's also very anti-social and afraid of strangers or even going outside the house. He's a Siamese mix and is extremely vocal, I got him from a local shelter and know nothing about his backstory.
Usually he's very loving and sweet! but...sometimes he jumps up at my legs or arms to bite and scratch me! It sometimes draws blood, and especially this time, it did. Before he gets ready to pounce he usually starts breathing heavily and wagging his tail ferociously, then he'll pounce. If I try to run or walk away he will chase after me and latch onto my leg.
Usually before and after this event he seems perfectly normal, and it seems to happen at random..I just want to know how to stop it. I'll take any advice I can get. I just couldn't really find any information on it online..
