I have 4 cats, two Male and two female(6, 14, 8, 8) and they are all wellbehaved and everything except, for some reason, one of them has begun just pissing on my room door. I'll be getting up to go to work and theres just this puddle of pee from my door like they just let loose. They have boxes and everything but one of them just consistently, without fail, will just piss on my door. Not once either, MULTIPLE times a day and always the same spot.
What the hell is going on and how do I stop it? The whole thing is embarrassing when I have company over and have to clear my floor multiple times.
I've tried scent sprays, keeping watch. It only happens when I am in the room and I can't figure out who is doing it.
Recently I tried putting down a towel in front my door. I covered it with the spray that is supposed to ward them off, bleach, teas, anything bitter smelling to the point my room started to smell worse than their urine. Yet, EVERY TIME, I go look at the towel and its drenched in pee. Nothing wards the cat off and I'm losing my patience.
Can anyone help me understand what is going on and how to stop it? The whole thing has been going on for a year now.
