So we have a 7 year old Male kitty (dessexed) named Phoenix, he has always been really skittish and a scaredy cat 😂 but would always come for a cuddle and be EXTREMELY loving. About august 2018 we let him out like normal to sunbake etc but he never returned, fast forward to September 2019 and we finally found him and brought him home, problem is he has extreme anxiety now, he hides under beds, shakes, won't come out unless we aren't home or are all in bed, no more cuddles or love.. basically I just want to know what I can do to help him, I hate seeing him so scared and I miss my cuddles 😥 any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
TLDR: Cat ran away for 13 months and came home with massive anxiety, how can I help him?
