Hi all, I've posted here before when my kitten got tapeworms - she did have a pretty intense reaction to the medication and didn't eat for a few days but has been back to her normal, crazy self so thank you all for your help!
I'm now wondering if anyone can share tips to get their kitten to eat dry food? She's 5 months old now, looooves wet and usually gets a 3oz can in the morning and a 3oz can in the evening, then I leave dry out during the day for her.
Sometimes she has a little bit, sometimes not at all - but she's always ravenous when I come home. Sometimes I mix a bit of dry in with the wet and usually she'll eat it, or pick around it, but if she wakes us up in the morning for food and I offer her a bowl of dry, she'll walk away!
I don't mind feeding her wet, our vet says it's better for her anyway as this way she gets enough water, but I know the counter argument is that dry is better for her teeth and ideally going forward she would be interested in both options! Would obviously be better on the wallet too!
Please share any tips and tricks. Thank you in advance!
