Hi there. I'm moving to Scotland from Boston in 4 months and hoping to take my cat with me. It's for a graduate school program, so I am not sure how long I will be there (1.5 years for the program, but hopefully longer if I can secure employment after). I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on flying and moving to another country with a cat. I've heard carry-on is best--I'd be too scared to put him in the cargo anyway. But if I have a layover, what to do, how to calm him down mid flight, what docs and vaccines he needs, which airlines are best etc.?
Any insight would be appreciated! He's been on car rides quite a bit but never on a plane.
Thanks!
