I have a young cat(1 yr) that just adopted a little less than a month ago. Recently, he decided that he wants to jump into two specific cubbie like sections in my desk. Right behind the router and modem (which kicks in the internet off) and right behind my PC. Both are full of rather unorganized wires. I can see why he wants to go in there, they're covered little holes, but there's plenty of other spots he can go in instead.
I've tried spraying water, giving him another activity to do, a firm "NO" and trying to tire him out before I get on my PC (right down to the point where he pants) but no matter what I do, the moment I'm not looking he sprints into these spots. He knows he's not allowed to. He only does it when I'm on my computer, but simply not being on my computer ever isn't much of an option.
Are there any ways I can get him to stop ? Will I need to rearrange my entire living room to remove these cubbies? He doesn't do this to any of my housemates and their more dangerous spots, just me.
(He also does a similar thing with eating our calathea - I've given him cat grass for that but he doesn't seem to take to it)
