Hi!
I am going to be traveling to visit family soon, and I'll be there for about a week. The house is about 4 1/2 hours away from where I'm at now. Currently, I don't have any friends or other family that would be able to pet sit my cat while I'm away. I do know that cats are better to stay in their environment, but I also know that my cat is pretty chill - he adjusted to my home right away and had no issues when I adopted him. However, I'm worried about if he'll react badly when bringing him to a new environment for a short period of time. So, I'm wondering...
- Do you have any tips for me to make sure he's comfortable? I plan to introduce him to a small space at first, not feed him much before the car ride, etc., but any other trips for the car ride OR once I get to my family's house would be appreciated!
