My gerbil, Padfoot (4 years old), has an injury that's beyond help from vets. I think the only option is to euthanize him but I'm not sure how much that would cost for a vet to do it. I don't want to do it at home, because I hear it can go horribly wrong and usually isn't humane. But my parents are a little tight on money because they'll be going out of town in a few days, so I want to know if we can have it done before they leave.
