Lump or swelling after rabies vaccination (cat)

My cat ( 2 years of age) has been recently vaccinated 2 days ago for the rabies vaccine, a few hours after the vaccination, I've notice a lump on the site of injection. I have called the vet and he had asked me to apply hot compressions to it but whenever I search it on google it appears that there is a 0.01 percent chance of it being cancerous. I don't want to jump to conclusions or anything but it does leave me concerned. She had some other mild reactions such as lethargy and anorexia but now it appears to have subsided. Another thing I was alarmed about is it being approximately two centimetres which according to google is one of the symptoms of the injection site sarcoma. The lump also had some pain where she wouldn't let me touch it but not it seems to have reduced. It's hard and movable with the skin and I do not know weather if the word swelling and lump referred to the same thing. Any help or advice would be highly appreciated.
