How much should I charge to watch my roommates (sick?) cat over the holidays?

My friend and I (in college) live together with our cats. She has two cats and I have one. Since she’s from out of state, she’s gone for a total of 3 weeks for the holidays. I’m from nearby, so I’m back in our house already since Christmas is over. Around Christmas, myself and another roommate checked in on her two cats intermittently.

As of now, there’s a little over a week until she returns. I’ve been home three days and have had to clean up diarrhea off the floor every day from one of her cats.

Normally I’d be perfectly fine receiving just a bottle of wine or something for watching her cats, but the amount of attention and cleaning this one cat needs is the equivalent of a part time job.

She offered to pay me for every diarrhea spot I need to clean, but never specified a monetary amount. I know a pet sitter would have costed her at least a couple hundred bucks (probably more because of how much/frequent he has diarrhea). I’m not sure how much to ask from her because it’s really no problem to watch them, but the diarrhea all over my stuff is really bringing me down.
