Our cat keeps swatting at us as we walk past, and she rarely cuddles. Does she hate us?

My boyfriend and I adopted our cat when she was three months old. She was found on the streets at about one month old, and fostered for two months, before coming back to the shelter until we adopted her a few days later. We've done nothing but dote on her. She's going to be a year old in January.

We give her lots of treats and wet food (along with her dry food of course, we did research into the best brand for her), play with her regularly and pet her whenever she's nearby or just plain being cute, which I assume she likes because she often purrs when we do.

Despite all our love though, I just can't help but worry that she doesn't love us back. She'll swat at us as we walk past sometimes, mostly without claws, but a few minutes ago when she did it, I felt one of her claws get me, and it really hurt. Additionally, she rarely cuddles, and when she does, it's only on the couch. She never sleeps with us. After we got home from a trip spanning a few days, she would often cuddle with me on the bed while I was using my laptop, but she stopped doing that after a few days.

I don't think she's ever intended to hurt us. She's never hissed at us or anything. I'm still worried she doesn't like us, though. I'll see posts of peoples cats being affectionate, and feel jealous, because our cat is nothing like that.
