We recently adopted a 3 and half month old kitten. It has been two weeks and she is adjusting to the house.
Super playful, absolutely loves it when you play with her, but she's not very cuddly. At best, she tolerates being petted for a short time at night or when tired. She has never sought out being petted, or try to rub against us.
She can be affectionate though, and will follow the humans most of the times, also want to sleep next to people when she can.
When she does accept pets, she will purr loudly, and sometimes lick my hand.
So does this mean she will never become a cuddly cat? What will happen when she grows out of her play ful period?
