My fiancé and I have two small dogs and two cats and recently we’ve been having a flea problem with our dogs, finding a few on our cats but only two or three. The dogs are on a separate side of the house than the cats leading us to believe that the problem is mainly in our bedroom where the dogs almost always are. At this point we have done full treatments to the carpet meaning we sprinkled a carpet powder called adams that supposed to kill fleas ticks, flea eggs, and flea larvae leaving that for like two hours, then we did pet arm and Hammer, then we use our wet vac to deep clean the carpet with carpet cleaner. While we were going through this process we also gave the dogs baths and gave them the advantage plus medicine to try to stop the fleas before letting them back into the bedroom. Despite all of our best efforts the fleas were still back within like three days, does anyone have any advice on products that will keep fleas away or what we can do to try to prevent the fleas?
