Hiya! My cat just recently turned 15. She's pretty healthy and lively still, but she's very skinny, and I'm worried about her losing even more weight as she ages.
She has severe allergies, and so far the only food we know that she can eat is Hill's Prescription Diet d/d. We're trying to move her to something else (preferably with more nutrition) as Hill's is very expensive. She can't hold down most grain-free foods, and a lot of wet food makes her sick. She doesn't have a lot of interest in food anymore and I think her appetite is getting smaller, but she goes crazy for meow mix irresistibles, which seems to be the only food she really likes. She can eat those as long as we only give her a few. She's really picky when it comes to anything else, and she doesn't like any people food.
Any ideas on what we can give her? Any cheap-ish treats we can try that might help her gain some weight?
I'd appreciate any advice or ideas!
Edit: She also really likes those squeeze-up treats, but can't eat them. We've tried grain free versions but she immediately got sick.
