Tonight was the last straw. My mom refuses to teach her dogs anything but sit and lay down. My mom had this dog since she was a puppy, and she grew up with our older dog whom was sickly. I wasnt around for her puppy years but when I came back she had food agression, attacks other dogs (besides our own dogs), and barks/could attack people she doesn't know.
The way our home is set up is...very small. When I'm at work my cat stays upstairs in my mom's room, when I get home he greets me. The dining room is next to the stairs of my mom's bedroom. The dogs bowls are at the entrance to the hallway leading EVERYWHERE ELSE IN THE HOUSE. She bite him so hard clumps of fur came out... nothing was in her bowls but water and he didnt even try to go for it he just wanted to see me...
How do I fix this? Or should I just have my boyfriend watch him until I'm able to move? I cant lose my baby to a misbehaving dog... my mothera lucky the woman whose dog got attacked by pure didnt file anything with police and just made us pay vet Bills.... or dog is sadly... a nuisance and bad tempered for no reason.... we dont hit our dogs, but we punish them by making them lay down, or they go inside if they were outside.
I dont know what to do... milo is my ESA, to help me get over how I traumatically lost my last cat as a child and my ptsd from recent personal issues. Please, I'm begging for advice..
