So this has happened once, almost twice but I knew it was coming so I moved away quickly. My cat (male 12 y/o tuxedo) was cuddling next to me on the couch, he fell asleep and I went to to get up to get something and woke him up, he meowed weirdly and bit me, like latched onto my arm for like 15 seconds. He has never been mean, ever. Play scratching/biting of course, but he is a very sweet and obedient boy. The only thing that has changed recently is we did have to put our older cat down. Is that possibly related to this? I know it’s completely obscure question but wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
