I have one crab and want to get him a heat pad and a friend and my parents are like oh no heat pad. No friend, hermit crabs are solitary. What do I do. Also not in a million years would they let me re-home him.(hermit crabs need humidity and a heat bulb dries out the tank. Heat pads don't. Also crabs NEED friends and die of loneliness)
