Doctors weren't sure if he had leukemia or lymphoma Even after doing a pathology report and paying a lot of money we didn't give a definite answer. We didn't do chemo on him. Just had him on tramadol and presidone. From the day he started showing symptoms till now was about a month. Before having him on meds, I was giving him some CBD oil. It didn't seem to help him much. Probably just for pain. So I stopped giving it to him and plus mixing it with meds could be dangerous. I was doing research and found that mushrooms could probably help him. Since some have cancer fighting properties. So I had him on that(Pet Wellbeing - Mushroom Immune Gold - Natural Alternative Immune Support for Dogs and Cats). Which is a mix of turkey tail, milk thistle, maitake, reishi, and ginger root. He was on it for about 4 days. It seemed to increase his appetite a bit. Even on his last day he ate. I gave him the presidone and tramadol at around 6 am. Than gave him the mushrooms at 2 pm. My question is, is there any way the mushrooms could have contributed to his death or was his death inevitable given the type of cancer he had? I checked and the meds and they didn't seem to interfere with the mushrooms. And I didn't administer the meds and mushrooms at the same time. Any input will be appreciated.
