I live in a large city and use public transit to travel to the suburbs to visit my family (1hr commute). I just adopted a lab/terrier mix about 24lb. I don’t have a car and don’t want to make my parents pick me up/drop me off every time I want to visit.
Does anyone know of a good travel carrier that is not too heavy or large for a 5’2 female to carry on a train? The platform is only a 2min walk so I’m not too concerned about the walk. More worried about how bulky it is and getting a carrier that will fit my dog. I am trying to train her to be carried in a large K9 sports sack backpack but she doesn’t seem to be getting it.
She is 24lb, lanky, about 22in from collar to tail.
