I found a kitten, maybe 4 weeks old, by the side of the road. I seen a few ran over corpses possibly the mom and other kittens hard to tell though when it looks like hamburger meat with fur, he was alone and in the gutter so I took him home. He is definitely starving, you can feel every bone in his body so I made emergency formula since I can't buy some until 6 hours from now. I flea bathed and put flea treatment to remove the fleas, I will deworm later today. My concern is.... I can't keep him. I have two cats already and I barely have the room for them. I live near Los Angeles and was hoping I could find a no kill shelter or someone who wants him. I can't just post him on offer up or Craigslist , I'm both afraid he will be mistreated and it's against community standards. I don't want to take him to a pound and most shelters this time of year refuse kittens due to it being on then season.
If anyone knows of locations I can drop him off at I would appreciate it. I will likely keep him a week or two so he's old enough to adopt and ises a litter box and is dewormed and flea free . I want him in the best condition possible so he gets a good home quickly. Please help with any information regarding no kill shelters or rescues. If anyone lives near Montclair in California and wants a kitten please message me. I just want him to have a good home and be well loved and Reddit is known for some wholesome things. Please help me get this little fur baby a home.
