Hi all. I apologize if this isn't the right place, but I'm not certain where to post my query.
Four months ago I bought a historic home and moved into it. We have three cats. All three chase nothing, stare at the walls and spend 90% of the time hiding.
I figure this is due to being in a new place, it seems there may have been a dog here in previous years as some doors have scratch marks and one has chew marks on it. I would imagine no matter how clean we get the home, they still smell dog?
We have cleaned and are replacing some parts of the home such as walls that need repair and flooring.
I would have thought they'd settle in after 4 months but no luck. They all eat, drink and use the litterbox no issues, none are ill.
Anyone have any idea how long the new home process takes? I've even used calming infusers to help to no avail.
