(My cat is new to us and only had her for almost a year now) Me and my cat were very close before she got sick and stayed in the vet for a few days. The only one who can go to the vet is my brother due to the pandemic. Before this happened we were very close, she let me carry her, go to different rooms in our house and clearly was not afraid of me. After she was cured, If I tried hugging her she will kick me. If I get close to her she runs away, when we put her in our rooms she always wants to get out, she always sticks to my brother everywhere he goes. It feels like she forgot about me and became a new cat that can only recognize my brother. Can you guys tell me what it means? in how she forgot about me and only remembers my brother.
