My dog (Ella, 7 year old rescue) has always loved walks and has done fine until recently. We will walk a few blocks before she starts shaking pulling towards home, and panting. It was maybe 60F and fine weather for where I live (MN). I tried to go past this but she has a collar and ends up chocking herself. I picked her up and walked a block, thinking she was scared of a house but it didn't seem to help. After the walk, she went into the basement and was shaking violently. I decided to put her on the couch beside me and watch some tv, and after a while she calmed down and took a nap on my lap.

A little about Ella, Carolina dog/American dingo rescued from Kentucky. She's a medium dog and 35-40 pounds at the most. She's scared of thunderstorms and fireworks, a little hostile towards other dogs.
Could it be that she's nervous walking alone? I had two other dogs (one passed away, other one too old to walk) and they would go out together fine.
Other possible explanation, I have a bee hive in my backyard now! (Got this week but she was shaking before on walks) Ella is fine and doesn't bother it and they don't bother her. I don't see how this could impact her walks though.
