Before I got my cats, I always had my desktop computer on the top of my desk (because.. desk..top. jks because of airflow i did not want to let it sit on my carpeted floor).
However, I'm not sure if it's the warm air or the height or the simple "screw you i will go wherever I want" mentality of cats or the combination of all three, I cannot stop my cats from climbing my computer. I don't want to use one of those desktop drawer thingys because again, airflow. I run a lot of heavy programs for work so I need the desktop to have its airflow unhindered.
Is there any furniture like metal frame or something that I can add to my desk, or something at all so that I maintain the airflow but cats cannot climb on top? I really need to minimize the fur from going into my computer, as much as I understand that it will be inevitable.
Thank you.. and apologies if this is the wrong subreddit to ask this.
