I saw one only cockatiel at a degraded pet shop, and well the circumstances are not great there. Anyway, I was thinking of buying for this reason, but I'm scared about it flying. What I mean is, after I tame him I'm obviously planningg to take him out lf his cage, and since they are strong flyers that scares bc I wouldnt know how to handle the situation. I haven't yet understood when birds fly and hit to walls and windows, or when they are relaxed and easy-going with flying. Also to note if it's important, that cockatiel is probably about 1 years old and obviously not hand raised.
