I have two indoor cats with fleas. I'm not sure how bad the infestation is. I moved their fur around and saw at least three in one spot but I have no bites.
My vet had me start them on Revolution, which I applied to them earlier today. One was difficult as her fur is VERY thick. (Should I shave a bit of her neck??)
I'm picking up hertz ultraguard spray tomorrow with Phenothrin. Is this safe to put on the carpets?
I've vacuumed the carpet and all soft areas (couch, pillows, bed, etc.). I've also washed ALL clothing and linens.
What else can I do? I need this gone ASAP as I'm moving to a new house in a month. I've never dealt with fleas before so I'm at a loss.
I sincerely appreciate any help.
