Hey there,
I am doing a PhD at La Trobe Univeristy on dog behaviour. We are trying to understand more about how dogs regulate their own behaviour by applying a concept from human psychology, Executive Function. Executive Function is an umbrella term for cognitive processes that are used to regulate behaviour.
Dogs need to constantly regulate their own behaviour (e.g. not jumping up on visitors, not chasing a cat on the other side of the road). At the moment we know very little about EF in dogs.
If you have a dog and 15 minutes spare to take part in this survey, it would be awesome!
Thanks :)
