Best way to help increase Iron? (Dog)

So two days ago I had taken my puppy in for his first shot and the vet told me he needed more fat in his food and more iron because his iron count is really low, likely due to separation from his mother too young and whatever food the breeder had him eating from 5 week and onward. I'd been giving him goat milk since the day I bouhht him, because he was just turning seven weeks old that day and he was FAR too young to be off breast milk (but he wouldn't touch formula so I went with the next best thing, goat milk is supposed to be better for them anyway) but that aside...

I got him a different dog food today that has 16% fat, over our old dog food which only had 11% in it and I was just wondering how can I increase his iron intake? Anything like eggs or something I should be giving him in small amounts over the next few weeks to make him healthier? The food I switched him off of was Pedigree puppy chow and he's now on Rachael Ray's bright puppy food, which is much better for a husky mix anyway, it took a looot of arguing to get him on a new food, but it has been done! Now my concern lies with the iron intake. The vet said his heart rate and bloodflow while he's sleeping is the equivalent of a dog who's just run a lot, which isn't good by any means... so I just wanted to ask how I might help him get that up and to a better level.
