It’s been a long while I want a pet. I live alone and don’t have many/any real friends. I can’t have a cat or a dog due to apartment rules. I’m thinking of getting a little chick or a day old duckling. I’m getting controversial information on the Internet about them, so could you wonderful people tell me: 1. Could I keep ducks indoors? I do have a small garden but there are predators and other people around and it wouldn’t be easy leaving them out. 2. Do ducks definitely need a puddle or not? I’m reading different things about this. 3. Most importantly, what could I do when I’m traveling? Could I leave them alone say in my corridor+bathroom while I’m gone? How long would they be ok? A few days or a few weeks? 4. Anything else I should know?
