Good evening everyone, I have hard decision to make and I need your help to help me decide. My friend who I have lived with for almost 10 years are finally moving into a house. I've a cat that has been with me for almost 4 years, I got her from a girl who was unable to care for the cat and just abandoned her. I know that during all this time she has bonded and gotten used to me. She follows me around, when it's time to sleep she always likes to sleep between my legs. I spend a lot of time with her when I can, specially on my days off. I spoil her and give her the best life I possibly can.
Unfortunately cats aren't allowed in the new house that my friends found. If I decide to go with them, I can't bring my cat and I've to rehome her. It's hard for me to do that because I don't want my cat to be sad, feel abandoned, unwanted, alone, lonely, betrayed and all negative emotions. When I moved in here from the last place I was living she cried for almost a week. I know she would do the same thing if I rehome her. I will miss her a lot too and I would feel like a failure and miserable for leaving a pet that hasn't done anything bad to me and who has only loved me and been there for me.
I love animals a lot and I find it hard to leave her behind because I just don't want my cat to suffer. If I decide to rehome her I want to be able to find a home that will love her as much as I do or even more. What would you guys do in this situation? My cat is almost 4 years old, she is a dark short hair kitty and a female.
