Hi.I just want to share a memory when I was walking my dog, Admiral.We were heading to the beach because it was a nice day and when it's a nice, sunny, clear day and the sea is calm and not crowded I'll let Admiral off leash and throw sticks into the shallows.But my old dog only takes short-walks.My sister was walking her German Shepherd, Chance.A little kid at the beach ran up to us.He started chasing Admiral.My old dog put up with it, the boy's teenage sister didn't even notice.Too busy talking to this teenage boy.Then, I stepped in. "Hey, my dog is tired and doesn't want to play."I said gently.So the kid ran up to Chance and grabbed his fur, and patted his neck. "Doggy!"He shouted.My sister tried to tell him to get off, but he ignored this.Then, she had no choice but to try to get him off, because the boy's sister hadn't noticed and Chance was getting fed up.Finally, the teenager grabbed the crying kid. "Are you OK?"The teenage sister said. "If you don't tell Mum I'll buy you an ice cream."Worst of all, Admiral is blind in one eye, my kids never bother him like that kid did, so he has never really had to put up with that.And NEVER from a stranger.
