Hello , i have an almost 8 months old male cat since i got him i never let him go out alone but these few passed days he started yowling and scratching every door leading out so i figured out he wants to mate , and since my neighbourhood is calm and pretty much safe i decided to let him go out by night and go out to get him in the early morning i did that for about 4 nights now so i noticed he tries to follow females and all but he ends up rejected now my question is : will a sexual desire make him ignore food ? because he doesn't whatever i serve him since i started letting him out . or is he probably hunting outside ? and i noticed him drinking lots of water and sleeps more often and once he wakes up he starts begging to go out ... I'm really concerned as this is my first pet and i'm sorry i didn't search for similar questions in this subreddit . Thanks in advance
