Advice for my old and sick cat

I’ve had my cat Skittles since I was 4. She is turning 15 soon. Before I went to college I was amazed at how well she was doing for her age. I came back home for Thanksgiving break and she is doing the exact opposite now.

-8 teeth removed from her mouth, jaw is swollen -tumor removed from mouth that turned out to be cancerous + spread -now deaf -walks around the house like she doesn’t know where she is and tries to get into spots she once hated (the shower, tub, certain rooms) -skinnier than before -meows to herself when she’s all alone (she was not a vocal cat before) -can’t / won’t drink water. I’m assuming the mouth surgery made her tongue swollen or hurt. I’m trying to syringe it into her mouth. -other small things as well, overall just acting weird.

She is taking her two medicines, both very hard and taxing meds. She’s still seemingly happy and wanting attention, but I know she must be in pain but not showing it. The vet said the cancer will probably make her pass. I just want some ideas on what to do to make her feel better and maybe spoil her a bit. Are there any good foods that would be easy for her to gum down? Any other ideas?

I’m shocked and unsure what to do. I’ve had this cat most of my life and now she is sick and dying. Finding out that she is now deaf is especially disheartening because she loves the sounds of birds and when people talk to her. I’m so sad.

edit: sorry for the weird formatting, I’m on mobile
