I have decided to make a base camp for my cat to work on her confidence. She does keep meowing every time I am outside the room. Is it ok to let her out or would that ruin any progress she has made to getting used to being in one room rather than the whole house?
Today was the first day. She has been out a few times today and when she escaped, I let her while I stay in the room. She comes back and then I close the door. She is perfectly quiet when I am in the room too. How long would it usually take for an anxious cat to get used to staying in only one room?
