So we adopted a cat around a month and a half ago, we had some eating issues at first but we solved it, mainly thanks to the help of this subreddit. However, now I am a bit concerned about something my cat is doing, which is that she yowls a lot in the morning. Whenever my boyfriend gets up (He's usually the first one), my cat starts yowling (With yowling I mean these really loud and deep meows, I don't know if this is the correct word) very loud. Usually we just give her breakfast like usual and she eventually stops after a little after eating, but today it's been different and it worries me.
My boyfriend got up, she started yowling, my boyfriend fed her but after eating she kept yowling super much. We usually went to her or called her and she kind of stopped and started meowing normal, but when we left or when she left to another room, she start yowling again. It's been like this for around 3 hours now, I gave her a bit more food because we didn't give her enough before so she could eat a bit more but that didn't help either. I know that she has used her litter box so that shouldn't be the problem either, but something strange that she does together with the yowling is going a lot to her litter box but not using it, just shaking it around for no apparent reason.
I am worried that she might have some kind of pain that she's trying to tell us. I also considered that she might be bored or wants attention but I have class the first hours of the morning. What could this be? Should I bring her to the vet?
