We have a pretty old mini pin (20) she’s been through hell and back she’s got all sorts of problems her eyes get pus in them, she has an abdominal hernia, wears diapers, she’s had a bunch of seizures and she can’t even walk on her own anymore, somewhat recently she just won’t stop barking, it’s constant no matter what we do, give her water change her diaper, move her into another position, really I’m not sure if she’s in pain she doesn’t really cry just barks, it’s basically in level with how I imagine a new baby cries except it’s her barking and she’s and ancient dog, me and my mom are not comfortable with getting animals put down but honestly it sounds like it might be the right thing to do recently, not only because of the barking being annoying as hell but it can’t be normal can it? I just don’t know how I feel about that morally it feels wrong to rush that sort of thing :/ to sort of play god with a life that isn’t my own.
