my girlfriend got a pigeon and it’s untamed and young. we put it in its cage (small to medium sized dog cage) and panicking a little bit and it’s trying to fit it’s head out of the bars, it can fit it’s head in and out easily, but not the rest of its body, what should i do? does it just need to get used to being in the cage? the pigeon is laying down now, i think it gave up on trying to escape. just not sure what to do
