Hi guys, I’ve had my cat for over a year, she recently just had her first liter of kittens. Since having them she has become 10xs more aggressive than she was prior, to being pregnant and having them. She has anxiety and I believe a boarder line mood disorder too, as a kitten she was locked in a room (I wasn’t aware of how often she would be kept in a room like this until after it happened.) so she then got her social anxiety, when I would be away at work she begun getting abused I believe and that’s why she hates men, due to my uncle doing as he did to her. (As soon as I found out I moved back home.) She now has all the freedom she can have, we have 2 dogs and 3 cats (including her.) she’s begun becoming a lot more aggressive towards females now, and she even hardly lets me love on her or touch her. No one is allowed in my room unless it’s my boyfriend or I and it’s become a huge problem. I understand she just had kittens and she’s become defensive (these kittens are 6 weeks old so her defensiveness has calmed down quite a bit.) but she’s begun chasing our dogs to attack them and so much more. I’ve come to the solution that I’m going to rehome her I think, I think she deserves someone who has one on one time for her and can love her more than I already have.. but I’m posting today to try and get some advice or help. this is heartbreaking to even think of.
