I adopted a cat about five days ago. I already have a small dog so I was thrilled to add another addition to my home. I just discovered I'm very allergic to the cat and it's really affecting my asthma. My boyfriend is already smitten by her and so am I (my dog, not so much lol). I can return the cat to the shelter but I'm starting to feel so guilty for having these thoughts. Anyone allergic to cats and still coexist? My allergy pills really don't help much either :(
