Hi all! Okay so i am a college student and my roommate recently rescued a kitten. I always thought I was allergic to cats but we went to go see it and I didn’t have any sort of reaction (I also used to be allergic to dogs when k was younger but grew out of it, so I assumed the same thing happened with cats!) it’s been about a month now and at first it was completely fine, but now I think that I am indeed allergic to him. I know it’s not a cold or seasonal allergies because it only occurs as soon as I go into my house. I sneeze up a storm and even have a wheezy quality to my breathing. I let him in my room in the beginning but now I keep my door shut and have washed everything since. Obviously I still love the cat and would never ask her to give him back but I just don’t know what to do? I plan to wash all our blankets on the main floor and vacuum today but are there any other tips anyone has? (He’s a tabby if that makes any difference haha) thanks in advance !
