I just started working at a pet store recently, within the last week. We have fancy mice and we put some out not even a day ago from the same litter all boys. They where fine yesterday, plenty of fresh food and water, two hides, an exercise wheel and bedding. Well this morning two hours into the store being open after we checked on them, when we did a second round, one had bit the other's face off. What in the world could of caused this? It wasn't over crowded and only them two and they had plenty of space and as I said food. Was it a territorial issue? Is this how it is sometimes? It was awfully depressing and I have been trying to figure out the potential cause.
