I’m really sad currently and feel really down. My cat basically has this habit of eating things she shouldn’t like bugs (not spiders but like hairy centipedes) and fluff. She stopped eating for two days and was vomiting and today (second day) we took her in. Apparently she ate some string and it got tied to her tongue, and is also in her stomach. She also has some poop in her stomach as well. But anyways that stopped her from eating, and the vets are going to see if she can get the string and poo to pass. I mainly posted on this subreddit to get it off my chest cause I’m really frustrated right now. My father is super concerned about the cost of vet rather than the cat or at least it feels like that. I also wanted to know if any vets here will think my cat will make it. Also surgery isn’t an option as it’s too “expensive” and my parents don’t want it done on the cat. Also is there any way to stop cats from eating things they shouldn’t.
I know this isn’t the most organized or neat but I’d really appreciate some advice or even just a kind gesture.
