Hello! My cat got into a cat fight and he got bit on one of his paw. I had to take him to the vet. When I came back home he was traumatized. Because of his E collar he started to panic. Later that night I had to go buy groceries. Back from the store, I opened the door and my cat ran like hell towards the woods with his E collar. I was wondering what should I do to try to get his trust and get him safe? Currently, i'm calling him every half hour and I put his litter outside. I'm worried that the trauma with his ecollar might scare him for good. He usually doesn't go too far outside and comes home when I call him in under two minutes.
