When we first got our dog, Logan, he scared our cat Junior until they got used to each other and now they coexist quite nicely. I never thought much of their lack of interaction until we got our new kitten, Gizmo, earlier this year. Gizmo absolutely adores Logan and tries to play with him gently and sleeps next to him. I just don't understand why a dog as loving as he is refuses to interact with her. She greets him when he comes inside and trots alongside him when he moves around the house while giving him love eyes. She even tries to play with him when he plays with his toys, but he doesn't play with her, lick her, or acknowledge her in any way positive or negative. This isn't really a problem, but I wish he wouldn't be so cold.
