So I have a male betta and female dalmatian molly in one of my 7 gallon tanks and my betta fish keeps eating his and the mollies portion. I had bought pellets for him since I had only him for a month initially, and didnt he fed off of flakes too. So when I first put his pellets and sprinkled some flakes over the tank, he ate his and the mollies portion, all of it! Even had the audacity to stare at me, asking for more food whereas the molly was just staring at me, just completely ignoring the flakes I sprinkled in for her. So now I put just the flakes first cause I know my betta will overeat if I add the pellets in too.
I also tried keeping her in my brothers tank (1 koi, 1 sucker fish) and the koi ate all the food and my molly just swam past it even thought I sprinkled it over her head. I dont know if she feeds off of algae or what cause shes been sucking on some of the gravel alot.
I'm really scared, I dont want her to die so can someone please tell me if his is normal behaviour, and if not, what should I do?
(PS: I just recently got my molly, 4 days ago, if that adds to anything)
