My parents finally allowed me to get a cat this christmas, but there’s a requirement that I don’t know if I’ll be able to meet:
My dad has a very expensive violin and a saxophone on his studio and he’s worried the cat will play with them and break them. He researched and found a cat breed (exotic cat) that is supposed to be calmer and less playful. But they need to be bought (and I’m kind of against it and would prefer adopting much more) since they’re a pure breed, and they’re honestly not the cat that I want physically.
I’ve been searching on adoption centers but I don’t know what to look for. My ideal cat is just the normal domestic cat. But is there a way to guarantee it won’t break my dad’s instruments?
